FastFound vs Frase
What they are genuinely good at, where we differ, and who should pick which. We have tried not to write the version where we win every row.
A content brief and writing tool. It is on this page because people ask us about it, not because it competes with us.
- A content brief and writing tool. It does not measure AI visibility.

What Frase is genuinely good at
It is good at the thing it is actually for. Research a topic, build a brief, get a writer moving. If your problem is that content takes too long to produce, that is a real problem and Frase addresses it directly.
A writer with a good brief beats a writer with a blank page, and briefs assembled from what already ranks are a sane input rather than a gimmick.
It is inexpensive next to the platforms in this comparison, and it earns its money on the days you use it rather than sitting there as a licence.
Where we differ
We publish our answers to all 31 methodology questions, including the limits of our own score. As far as we can establish, no other platform in this comparison has published theirs.
Frase does not measure AI visibility at all, and we are not going to pretend otherwise to make a table look fuller. It is not making the claim those 31 methodology questions are aimed at, so it would be unfair to hold it to them. If you have seen it listed alongside AI visibility platforms in someone's comparison grid, that grid is misleading you.
23 languages, 35 markets, local currency and local tax wording — and the work is done in your language, not translated into it afterwards.
It is an English-language writing tool. When we write, we write in the language your customers buy in, and the person editing it works in that language too.
AI probes run on Google Vertex AI in Frankfurt (europe-west3); search data is processed in Germany by an Estonian company. Every sub-processor is documented.
We have not audited where they process data and we make no claim about it. What we will state about ourselves: AI probes run on Google Vertex AI in europe-west3 (Frankfurt), search data is processed in Germany by an Estonian company, and every sub-processor is written down with its transfer instrument.
A tool hands you a dashboard and a list of tasks. We run the tasks. That is the difference between a subscription and a growth department.
Frase helps a writer write. It does not tell you whether AI engines can find you, whether they describe your business correctly, or which of your existing pages is the reason they do not — and it does not fix them.
Who should pick which
If what you need is a brief and a faster route to a draft, buy Frase and ignore the rest of this page. It is not a worse version of us — it is a different product, and plenty of businesses need writing help far more than they need another dashboard.
If your question is whether AI engines can find you and whether they describe you accurately, no writing tool answers it, Frase included. That question is what we are for.
There is no performance figure anywhere on this page. We do not publish one — ours or anybody else's — until it is our own measured result, and we do not have one yet. Anyone showing you a number should be able to tell you whose data it is.
